I have to say, this seems like yet another example of Democrats trying to take some sort of illusory high ground, in reality ceding further political ground to a not-so-conscientious Republican Party. I mean, come on! Fox news seems to have no qualms about allowing its Republican pundits to donate to their candidates of choice, so why should we deny our most avid supporters the right to financially support this cause? I mean really, its no mystery that he is a Democrat, he has always been very upfront about his leanings. I'm not saying that we should always sink to the level of Republicans, I'm all for sticking to factual information and not running campaigns based only on partisanship, but in matters like this, can we please relax a bit?
